Dehumidification Methods of Dehumidifying dryer

Adsorption Rotary Dehumidification

A honeycomb-shaped rotary wheel made of thin plates soaked in a moisture-absorbing agent is ventilated to achieve dehumidification effects.

Liquid Absorption Dehumidification

There are two types of liquid absorption dehumidification. One is that moisture is absorbed by spraying lithium chloride aqueous solution, which can lower the dew point to around - 23°F. However, the equipment is large, and the absorbing solution needs to be replaced. The other type uses the capillary effect to absorb moisture to solid desiccants, which can lower the dew point, but the equipment gets larger with the increasing absorption area.

Compression Dehumidification

The wet air is compressed, cooled, and separated to achieve dehumidification effects. This method is useful in small airflow situations, but it is not suitable for large airflow situations.

Cooling Dehumidification

By cooling the air to below the dew point and then removing the condensed water, dehumidification effects can be achieved. This method is effective in situations where the dew point is above 37°F.

Working Principles of Dehumidifying dryer

The refrigeration system (including a compressor, evaporator, and condenser) of the dehumidifier reduces the temperature of the surface cooler to below the dew point of the air. The moist air is drawn into the machine and exchanges heat with the cooler, causing water vapor in the humid air to condense into droplets and flow out of the machine or into a water tank. The dried air is discharged into the room, and this cycle gradually reduces the humidity level, making the space dry and comfortable.

Industrial dehumidifying dryer can also choose temperature-controlled drying machines, which can adjust the temperature by themselves according to the drying degree of the products. Heavy-duty industrial dehumidifiers generally use standard air dehumidification drying machines.
