The Difference between Dehumidifying Dryer and Ordinary Dryer

In the past, traditional hot air blowers were used in enterprises. If the weather is humid, it is difficult for the hot air blower to accomplish the purpose of drying. The dehumidifying dryer was established to improve the shortcomings of the hot air blower, which can dry the raw materials quickly and effectively. So what is the difference between a dehumidifying dryer and an ordinary dryer?

1. Precautions for the drying gas path of the dehumidifying dryer

In the drying gas path of the dehumidifying dryer, the drying temperature should be detected at the material inlet to compensate for the heat loss of the dehumidifying and drying equipment in the hose. The low air temperature at the entrance of the drum may be due to improper control and lack of insulation, or a malfunction of the heater element, heater contactor, thermocouple or controller. In addition, it is also important to monitor the drying temperature throughout the plastic drying machine processing.

If the material is not properly dried after coming out of the dryer, check whether there is enough space in the drying bin to provide sufficient and effective drying time. The effective drying time refers to the time during which the particles are actually exposed to the appropriate drying temperature and dew point. If the particles stay in the silo for insufficient time, they cannot be dried properly. (1) Traditional hot air blower

In order to evaporate the moisture in the material, the traditional hot air blower will use electrically heated hot air to dry the material at high temperature. However, due to weather factors, dry weather and humid weather, the moisture content in the air will be different, and the drying effect will also be different. In the traditional hot air blower, the incoming air must first be heated for electric heating. If the weather is too humid and the incoming air contains high moisture, it is difficult for the material to achieve the purpose of drying.

(2) Dehumidifying dryer

Dehumidifying dryers effectively improve the shortcomings of ordinary dryers. It absorbs the surrounding air, removes the low dew point moisture in the air, and then transports the heated and dried air to the dryer to dehumidify and dry the material. The work efficiency is greatly improved, the drying time is reduced, and the drying effect is better.

The air duct of the dehumidifying dryer is a closed circulation system, which is not affected by external weather. These materials can dry well on dry or wet days without ebb. The dehumidifying dryer with filter can prevent dust leakage from polluting the factory and keep the air environment clean. Generally speaking, the difference between the two dryers lies in the water content of the air inlet used for drying.
