Precautions of Using Heat Conducting Oil

The special heat conducting oil for Mold temperature machine is a type of heat conducting oil developed according to the characteristics of mold temperature machine. Its basic properties are similar to those of heat conducting oil, and its operating temperature ranges from -5℃ to 305℃, which is relatively common compared to traditional mineral oil.

Mold temperature machine heat conducting oil has properties such as resistance to thermal cracking and chemical oxidation, good heat transfer efficiency, fast heat dissipation, and excellent thermal stability. As an industrial oil heat transfer medium, heat conducting oil has the following characteristics: it can achieve high operating temperatures under almost atmospheric pressure. This greatly reduces the operating pressure and safety requirements of high-temperature heating systems, improves the reliability of the system and equipment; it can meet different temperature heating and cooling process requirements in a wider temperature range, or use the same heat conducting oil to achieve high-temperature heating and low-temperature cooling process requirements in the same system.

Replacement time of mold temperature machine's heat conducting oil

The service life of heat conducting oil for mold temperature machine has no fixed concept. Depending on the composition of the heat conducting oil used in the Mold temperature machine, the operating temperature, system design, operation and management factors, the service life of mold temperature machine heat conducting oil will be different. Be careful not to exceed the use temperature and avoid contact with oxygen at high temperatures. Generally, there should be no problems, but it is recommended to perform sample analysis every six months. If it is found to be unqualified, it should be replaced immediately. Different types of Mold temperature machine heat conducting oils should not be mixed.

Before using the new heat conducting oil, it must be dehydrated and the water must be removed before heating. As long as the heat conducting oil is regularly replaced, scaling will not occur. Generally, the heat conducting oil should be replaced once a year. If economically affordable, it can be replaced once every six months, but the relative cost will be high.

Precautions for using mold temperature machine's heat conducting oil

  • According to the suggestion of mould temperature controller manufacturers, use suitable heat conducting oil, generally synthetic oil.

  • Mold temperature machine's heat conducting oilmust be properly managed, and impurities such as water, acid, and alkali should not be mixed in.

  • Do not mix impurities or moisture in the connecting pipes of the Mold temperature machine.

  • Check regularly for leaks at the Mold temperature machine joints and mold interfaces, and deal with them promptly.

  • Replace the heat conducting oil in a timely manner. In general, it must be replaced every six months.

  • Regularly check the liquid level and oil quality changes in the heat conducting oil tank, and add or replace the heat conducting oil.

  • Do not exceed the maximum operating temperature of the heat conducting oil during use.
