The chiller is a water cooling equipment, which can provide constant temperature, constant flow and constant pressure. The principle of the chiller is to inject a certain amount of water into the internal water tank, the water will be called by the cooling system, and then the low-temperature frozen water is injected into the equipment to be cooled by the inside water pump. The chilled water will take away the heat inside the machine, and high-temperature hot water will return to the water tank for cooling. The circulation exchange cooling can achieve the role of cooling equipment.
The industrial chiller can be selected based on the company situation. For example, if a company needs a large cooling power, a screw-type industrial chiller should be selected. An acid-alkali-resistant industrial chiller is suitable for the electroplating chemical industry. For companies with small demand for cooling power and good environmental conditions, an air-cooled industrial chiller should be selected. The water cooling industrial chiller is suitable for companies that need good refrigeration. For any company, only by choosing the right chiller can it achieve the best function to ensure its practicality.
The air cooled water chiller can be used for small systems, and most larger units are water cooling. The initial investment of the water cooling chiller is a little less than that of the air cooled water chiller. However, there are cooling towers, computer rooms and electronic water treatment devices. In addition, in terms of long-term operation, the cooling efficiency of water cooling units will decrease relatively while air cooled units will not. The air cooled chiller adopts the air-cooled method, which can eliminate the cooling tower, cooling water pump and piping system of the cooling water system. It also avoids the scaling of condensers and the blockage of water pipes in areas with poor water quality to save water. It is the most economical and convenient model for the maintenance of cold water air conditioning equipment.
The air cooled chiller is slightly higher than the water cooling chiller, but the annual operating cost is lower. The construction cost of the computer room is the smallest among all kinds of air conditioning cold and heat source systems. The maintenance cost is related to water cooling, and it has half cost of a boiler. Compared with the water cooling chiller that is usually installed in the basement, the air cooled chiller is noisier and larger and it can only be installed outdoors.
(1) Advantages of the air cooled water chiller
It is easy to install. The unit has been installed with a cooling fan and there is no necessity for an external cooling tower or cooling water pump, which saves investment and reduces installation labor and cycle. The small chiller is more cost-effective. Also, compared with the water cooling chiller, there is no cooling water pipe in the air cooled water chiller so the movement is more flexible and convenient. It is suitable to be used in areas with insufficient water resources or poor water quality (high hardness or salty).
(2) Advantages of the water cooling chiller
Compared with the air cooled water chiller, the water cooling chiller is much more efficient. It works well on equipment even when the ambient temperature is high. It has a good cooling effect and stable heat dissipation performance, and it also can play a throttling effect.
