Fault Detection and Troubleshooting Methods for Dehumidifying Dryer


Dehumidifying dryer can effectively improve the traditional hot air machine which is easy to be affected by air humidity. It can control the humidity of the air in a shorter time, improve the drying effect and shorten the drying time, playing an important role in production. Therefore, to avoid failure and delay in production work during the use of Dehumidifying dryer, it is necessary to regularly perform fault detection. The following article will introduce the methods for fault detection and elimination of dehumidifying dryer.


When the dehumidifying dryer is turned on


If a fault occurs in the system after power-on, the system cannot be turned on (there should be no output), and the corresponding fault code will be displayed. The system will make corresponding fault handling measures. After the fault is eliminated, the system will return to the shutdown state and need to be restarted.


During the operation of the dehumidifying dryer


Overload fault input of fan


When an overload fault is detected, the fault indicator lights up. The system shuts down the heating, disconnects the heating relay, and the heating indicator light turns off. The fan is turned off, the fan relay is disconnected, and the fan indicator light turns off. The system stops all outputs. At the same time, the alarm relay outputs (on/off) alarm signal. After the fault is eliminated, the system returns to the shutdown state.


Overheat fault input


When an overheat fault is detected, the failure indicator lights up. The system immediately turns off the heating, disconnects the heating relay, and the heating indicator light goes out. At this time, the fan can work normally. At the same time, the alarm relay outputs (on/off) alarm signal. After the fault is eliminated, the system returns to the shutdown state.


Reverse phase fault


When a reverse phase is detected, the failure indicator lights up, and the system stops all outputs. At the same time, the alarm relay outputs (on/off) alarm signal. After the fault is eliminated, the system returns to the shutdown state.


The fan does not rotate and hot air is emitted


This is mainly caused by motor failure and the electromagnetic switch being continuously attracted. Replacement of motor and repair and replacement of electromagnetic switch can solve the problem.


The fan rotates but there is no temperature


The fault of dehumidifying dryer is mainly caused by the fuse of the heat pipe connection lead sheet, the failure of the electromagnetic switch, the failure of the electric heating pipe, the failure of the temperature controller to output, and the failure of the thermocouple. The fault can be eliminated by checking, replacing, and repairing parts.


The fan rotates but the temperature is too high


This is mainly caused by the blockage of the air duct, the failure of the temperature controller, or the error being too large. Cleaning, replacing the temperature controller, or adjusting the micro-adjustment button can eliminate such faults.
